Today's new characters are:里、北、家、的。 We practiced writing the characters in class. There's one page of writing practice sheet that was given to the students for homework. I'm looking forward to grading them the next Sunday, 3/8.
In the second half of today's lesson, we played a game "找朋友", where students each picks one character and looks for a "friend" who has another character and together make a word. With music and a song to go with the game, I hope they also memorized this Chinese nursery song along the way.
